Local Anesthetic
Dr Swanson has been safely numbing adults and children for 30 years. Our technique starts with a powerful mixture of topical anesthetics compounded by a pharmacy. Unlike the large corporate dental clinics, we take our time when numbing our patients to ensure the least possible sensitivity. Local anesthetic is an acidic solution that stings when administered. Our anesthetics are buffered prior to injection using Onset. This helps eliminate pain during the injection, reduces wait times for numbness to take effect and leads to more reliable and consistent pain relief.
